I love Goat! (Part-1)

Ram is a 8yr young boy belong to a poor family. He was fond of pets; particularly he was craze of dogs. But he had only a cute little white goat. Daily, after coming from school, he used to feed the goat with grass, only then he go to play marbles with his friends. He loved that goat as he loves his brother.

One fine day Ram, on his way back to home from school saw a furry puppy on the road with eyes covered with hair. He followed it. The doggie entered a giant bungalow. Then ram went home with heavy heart.

That puppy belongs to Rohith a 12yr old boy who lives in that bungalow.

One unfine day Ram noticed his goat missing in his home. Then he came to know that his drunken father sold that goat for money. Ram being a kid did nothing, but cried rolling on the floor. He felt he lost his beloved brother and he couldn’t control his tears when he imagines his goat as a mutton piece.

The next day, in the bungalow, Rohith found his puppy is ill. He become nervous and immediately took it to the nearest pet care centre in an auto. Rohith tried speak to the puppy it didn’t responded with a usual bark. The auto man noticed this with sympathy.

The puppy was alright after a protein injection by the doctor, Rohith too. It licked Rohith’s face shaking its tail and barked. Rohith is now totally happy and took it back to home.

In home,
He asked his mother, “Mummy I am hungry, what you prepared for me?”
His mother said “Surprise!!!” and showed him fried Mutton.
Rohith with widen eyes said “I love Mutton(goat)”.

India’s 100th Republic Day

[Authors’s note on this story: I wrote this story for the purpose of a presentation on “IT & Economy”. This story consists of complete imaginations which take place in the year 2050. So many things are of out of the imagination boundary. Get ready and then read it –Aravind Shankar]

On December 31^st evening 2048, Anand aged 23yrs, riding the electronic bike along with a little boy aged 8yrs, named Siddu sitting behind him. Both of them are going to Crystal Bakers to buy a New year cake. When they reached the bakers, Siddu requested “I want chocolate flavor uncle”. Anand bought the 1kg of Chocolate cake in which “Happy new year 2049“ was written with a silver cream. He paid Rs.3500 for his cake and started riding back to their home. On the way to his home a police stopped Anand for formal checking. Anand obeyed the rule and showed all his documents by standing in a long queue. But Siddu was restless. Siddu asked Anand to give Rs.1000 as bribe to the constable and leave the place soon. Anand explained Siddu that these type of corruption was abolished before 40 yrs with a revolutionary man called Anna hazare. And on his way home Anand explained Siddu about how India became a corruption free country with the great efforts of Anna Hazare.

At 12am sharp Anand’s home welcomed the New year “2049” with a great joy in the decorated hall of their home. At the same time Anand’s lady love Rani called him which causes the disappearance of Anand from the hall. He ran to Balcony and attended the call. Rani said Happy new Year and continued that “this year you should get a job. Only then our marriage will happen”. Anand told her about the Interview call letter from “Raju Consultansy services(RCS)” which is going to held on 2^nd of January and he promise that he will grab this job and their marriage will take place in the month of March. On hearing this Rani was very happy and excited so she kissed him through the phone and cut the call. Rani was Anand’s class mate when he doing his MCA in Annamalai University Chidambaram. Anand started preparing for the interview in a serious manner.

On the morning of Interview day he received blessings from his parents. His father told RCS(Raju Consultancy services) is the Top most IT company in India. And it is the important reason to make India second place in Economy in the world with its 20 billion dollar as revenue per annum. And Anand said “I will be selected daddy” with a confidence.

Anand was almost selected when the HR Mr.Ranil fired the last question. “What is your ultimate aim in your Life?”. Without any thinking Anand answered that “I want to contribute something to my mother nation and I am ready to sacrifice anything to achieve that”. When Anand came out from the interview hall he called his father through mobile and said “I am selected daddy”.

Then he directly went to Rani’s house and asked Rani’s father to give permission to marry Rani. As Anand already told their marriage held in March 2049 in a grand manner with the blessing from both of their parents. Then Anand took a leave from his office and went to Moon as honey moon in a tourist shuttle from ISRO. After coming back from Moon he had given training for next 3months in RCS headquarters situated in Mars. Then he was placed in Chennai branch in Earth as a software tester, and he received a good news that he is going to become a father in another eight months which made him more happy.

The Project that currently Aanand working in RCS has a project value of Rs.50 billion. If the project ends up with success then India will become no.1 country in Econmy in world. But “Y2050” problem was a big threat for that project. “Y2050” problem is all about a virus which will affect all the database of RCS by updating all the date in the database as 00-00-0000 which will result in data inconsistency. And this virus was created by the cyber terrorists belong to China to collapse Indian Economy. This virus will affect the RCS database at 12am on 1^st January 2050. So this will make a big loss to RCS and India. This virus may push INDIA to 15^th position in Economy.

On November 29^th Prime minister Rahul Ghandi meet finance minister Karthi Chidambram (S/O P.Chidambram) and analyzed the problem. The cyber crime branch found that the virus was loaded in a wireless mainframe server. And if that wireless server is found we can avoid this virus by deactivate the server. They searched that wireless server throughout India but can’t find it.

On December 31^st the entire world getting ready to welcome the new year 2050 including India. But the In India, the IT guys were in great tension because of “Y2050” virus. At 12 am sharp the virus will be activated.

Now Anand walking on his office premises chatting with Rani in mobile about this virus issue. He noticed a guy doing something strange under a tower. He immediately cut the call and walked towards that guy silently. He is none other than his fellow software tester Arjun. On seeing Anand, Arjun was restless and try to eat the cyanide hanging on his neck. Aanand somehow resisted him from eating the cyanide and took him to cops at 10pm. On investigation Arjun is the Coolie who operating the wireless Y2050 virus server. And the wireless server was now situated very next to Kapaliswarar temple in mylapore.

To do this job Arjun was provided with a Ticket to Venus and a Estate banglaw in venus registered in his name. Then those documents were cheased from him.

Now Aanand along with the cops and HR Ranil rushed to Kapaleswarar temple in a vehicle. They reached the temple at 11.55pm. Only 5 minutes to virus activation. A continues beep sound was coming near the STD booth. It was found that it is not a STD booth, it is the main frame wireless virus server. Every one was hopeless that the virus will be activated in 2mins. Now Aanand took every one far apart from the wireless virus server and he said Ranil that “I was expecting this moment for past 24 years sir” and took the police vehicle in 80km/hr shouthing “Vandeeeee maaathrammmmm” and dashed on the server exactly at 11:59:59 pm and blasted the virus server when every one in the country shouted Happy new year.

After few minutes the police people picked Aanand’s dead body which was almost burnt. The HR Mr.Ranil cried over his body remembering the interview with him. And the IT people in India were in great surprise that no Virus had affected the database.

The next day newspaper headlines was “RCS’s Rs.50 billion Project successful and India become no.1 position in Economy in the world. 24 years old IT guy Aanand made this by sacrificing his soul”.

On January 26^th 2050 India’s 100^th Republic day celebrated in New Delhi. Six months pregnant lady Mrs.Aanand(Rani) received The Bravery Award from the Hon’ble President of India Dr.Aravind Shankar.
